Functions
The Public Works Division maintains more than 150 lane miles of streets. The division is responsible for the following duties:

• Maintaining street signs and lights
• Maintaining village vehicles and equipment
• Maintaining village streets, sidewalks, curbs & gutters and bike paths
• Overseeing snow and ice control operations
• Performing building maintenance
• Performing sanitary sewer and storm sewer operations
• Parkway tree management
• Striping pavement and crack sealing
• Sweeping streets
