1. Can I burn leaves?: No, there is no open burning allowed in the Village. All backyard fireplaces/fire pits must be covered at all times.

2. How long can I let my grass grow?: Grass and weeds shall not exceed eight (8) inches in height.

3. What are the Village's rules about storing recreational vehicles/equipment on residential property?: The Village has regulations that pertain to summer and winter recreational vehicles/equipment storage on residential property. For more information, contact the Community Development Department at 847-639-1100.

WELCOME TO THE VILLAGE OF CARY

The Village of Cary recently put together the finishing touches on a new promotional video for the community. The video has been a project spearheaded by the Village's Economic Development Task Force over the past year and was produced by Waysound Recording. It will be utilized for economic development and marketing purposes and provides a quick overview of the many benefits Cary has to offer to potential residents and businesses. The video can be found on YouTube. Highlights include the multitude of recreational activities available locally, recent community rankings, business environment, local school system, and community events which are held throughout the year.
